• If you GENUINELY believe you have a GOOD IDEA based upon your own experience or market research, then GO FOR IT
• Get the best advice you can afford, don’t let people put you off and NEVER GIVE UP
• HAVE A GOOD BUSINESS PLAN i.e. numbers and narrative, see it as your recipe for business success and your persuasive tool to raise finance and sell your idea
• GET THE MONEY RIGHT, look after your cash flow and don’t be too hung up about equity release, it’s better to have a little of something big, than all of something small
