Show #007: Pannone - best company to work for in the North West according to The Sunday Times
Sep 29th, 2007 by Jon Coulter
This week I interview Rachel Dobson HR Director of Pannone, the best company to work for in the region according to a survey in The Sunday Times.
Pannone a single site law firm based in Manchester with 720 employees, was ranked number 1 in the the North West (and number 3 in the UK for the second year running) in The Sunday Times ‘Best Companies To Work For 2007′ Survey.
Rachel Dobson, HR Director for the last seven years and one of the key architects behind Pannone’s success shares with us the reasons why the law firm is such a great place to work.
Rachel’s advice to other organisations aspiring to become a more attractive employer includes:
- TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT- Pannone has a very straightforward and down-to-earth culture and that seems to work for us
- COMMUNICATE WELL- ensure you encourage a 2 way dialogue and invest time in buliding clear channels of communication
- ENTER THE SUNDAY TIMES BEST COMPANIES SURVEY - if you think you might do well, give it a go
