My guest this week is Neil Pakey, Managing Director of Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Neil has been MD of the Peel Holdings owned airport for over 5 years and has been in the aviation industry for 25 years. When he joined, the airport served 600,000 passengers a year - currently, that figure stands at over 4.5 million a year. The airport has also recently won Travel Trade Gazette’s prestigious ‘UK Airport of the Year Award 2007′.
In this interview, Neil explains the reasons behind the airport’s success, as well as giving us an insight into future development plans.
