If you don’t, what are you missing out on? Well, this Christmas the projected online spend by UK consumers is £4 billion, that’s a 50% increase on Christmas 2006!

My guest this week is North West based Internet Marketing expert Jan Klin.
Jan has an extensive and impressive background in the world of internet marketing and is Managing Partner of Jan Klin and Associates.
In this interview, Jan explains how to get your internet marketing right. He defines key terms, outlines the correct process your business should adopt and identifies the key things to do to ensure that your internet marketing is as successful as possible.
Jan’s key tips include:
- CONDUCT AN EXTENSIVE KEY PHRASE ANALYSIS - don’t go for general/highly competitive keywords, look for specific words and phrases that will improve your web traffic
- ENSURE THAT YOUR ENTIRE WEBSITE IS OPTIMISED - make sure that search links click through to the correct part of your website
- GET AN EMAIL ADDRESS FROM VISITORS - offer an incentive in exchange for an email address e.g. a newsletter or podcast that enables you to regularly communicate with visitors
